No Binding. Condition: As New. 2 b&w posters/cards by Benjamin Kress and Cate Marvin; 2 pages printed by photocopy; unfolded size: 31-1/2 x 21in (80x54cm); edition size is unknonw, it is not signed; Synopsis: "2-UP is a year-long poster project initiated by Adam Shecter and Joe Winter, who will release a series of double-sided posters created by two artists working together in the interest of making low-cost editions available to a wide audience. Benjamin Kress and Cate Marvin cohabit the sheets of the sixth issue of 2-UP. Cate Marvin contributes a new poem, "Why I Am Afraid of Turning the Page," which confronts the death of a friend correlative with the the premature birth of her own daughter. This attentive and poignant poem is accompanied by a photograph of a funereal scene; a shrouded body lays at the foot of the image, shaded by three mournful onlookers, personifications of the artist wearing handmade masks. On the reverse, is a photograph of a sculpture by Benjamin Kress of a thicket of kudzu vines. Kress has designed the image as a tessellation so that the poster may be repetitively hung alongside itself covering an expanse of space."; both in EXCELLENT COND.
