About the Author:
Award-winning writer and pet expert Susan McCullough has written numerous of books and articles about dogs. She is the author of Housetraining For Dummies (Hungry Minds, 2002). McCullough won the Dog Writers Association of America Maxwell Award in 2002 and 2001 and was a finalist in 2000. In addition, she won the 2001Eukanuba Canine Health Award for the feature article that best promotes the health and well-being of dogs. Her articles have appeared in the Washington Post, Family Circle, Modern Maturity, Woman's Day Moms on Call, Dog World, Popular Dogs, Dogs USA, Cats, Pets.com, PetLife, Whole Dog Journal, and many others. McCullough is a contributor for New Choices in Natural Healing for Dogs and Cats (Rodale Press, 1999), The Well-Mannered Dog (Rodale Press, 1999), PetSpeak (Rodale Press, 2000), and Chicken Soup for the Cat and Dog Lover's Soul (Health Communications, 1999). She is a member of the Association of Pet Dog Trainers, American Society of Journalists and Authors, Washington Independent Writers, Dog Writers Association of America, and Cat Writers Association.
