Armadilly Chili - Hardcover

I wrote Armadilly Chili because when I was very young and heard the story of The Little Red Hen, I hated the ending of that story.  Even as a young child, it didn't feel like a good ending - the little Red Hen and her barnyard friends never did make up with each other - the story ended on a sour note.  So when the silly phrase "Armadilly Chili" popped into my crazy brain, I knew EXACTLY what I would do with those words - write a better Little Red Hen story - one with an ending that felt right to me.   And as I always do, I had LOTS of fun playing with the language so that my story would be fun to hear AND fun to read!
