About the Author:

Eileen Finn is an ESL teacher, research scientist, and painter based in Portland, Oregon, who specializes in acrylic paintings, which employ vibrant colors in the style of post-impressionism. Her art is heavily influenced by Van Gogh and Jose Guadalupe Posada. Ms. Finn only started painting six years ago. When her beloved dog passed away, Eileen started to explore her Mexican heritage and got into Day of the Dead art as a way to grieve and has been drawn to it ever since.
