“Everyone's favorite messed-up war correspondent”(Sarah Weinman) returns in Anna Blundy's exhilarating sequel to the critically acclaimed Vodka Neat
Faith Zanetti doesn't much care who put the bomb on flight TAA67, the plane that blew up over the tiny Scottish village of Cairbridge twenty-five years ago. Wasn't it those Libyan blokes who went to prison? For a woman whose comfort zone is a war zone, it seems like the boring assignment from hell.
But as the conspiracy theories start seeming less theoretical, Faith realizes she's skating on thin ice. With the ghost of her dead father creeping out of her dreams, and the screams of the doomed passengers ringing in her ears, Faith begins to suspect that the truth she seeks might be closer to home than she thought...

Anna Blundy is an Oxford graduate and former Moscow correspondent for The London Times. She has lived and worked in many areas of the world, and she now splits her time between London and Tuscany.
Her and Zoe Heller’s columns were the basis for the real women Helen Fielding was satirizing in Bridget Jones’s Diary. Her first book, Every Time We Say Goodbye, told the story of her foreign correspondent father who was killed by a sniper in El Salvador in 1989. Vodka Neat was her first novel in the Faith Zanetti thriller series to be published in the U.S. Please visit her Web site at www.faithzanetti.com.
"Smashing . . . sizzles with suspense."
- Publishers Weekly (starred review) on Breaking Faith
"Razor-sharp...swerves quickly into the helter-skelter, vaguely surreal thriller world of, say, Reggie Nadelson, with a touch of Michael Dibdin at his darkest. Wherever the charismatic Zanetti winds up, she bears watching."

“Complex, tense, and fast-moving . . . Blundy's characters are fully fleshed, flawed, and thoroughly human. A fine mystery with an interesting and engaging female lead and a strong sense of place.”
